How to use this time card calculator
- Set your hourly rate and your employer's overtime rules (40 hours per week at 1.5x is standard in the US).
- Enter clock in, clock out, and break minutes for each day you worked.
- See regular hours, overtime hours, double time hours, and gross pay update instantly.
Overtime example
Five days at 8 hours each with a $20 hourly rate gives 40 hours and $800.00 of pay with no overtime. Five days at 10 hours each gives 40 regular hours plus 10 overtime hours, so gross pay is $1,100.00 (40 x $20 plus 10 x $30).
FAQ
Does this tool store my time entries?
No. Every calculation happens on your device. Your entries never leave this page.
How are overtime hours calculated?
Hours up to your weekly overtime threshold (usually 40) are regular. Hours above that threshold are overtime. If you set a double time threshold, hours above that are double time.
Can I print my timesheet?
